Introduction

General Introduction of Stainless Steel Usage

Types of Sheet
There are different types of Finish available for stainless steel sheets, including polished, brushed, or matte. The thickness of the sheet is commonly measured in gauge values, with higher gauges representing thinner sheets. One of the primary advantages of stainless steel sheets is their excellent corrosion and rust resistance, making them suitable for marine and plumbing applications. However, they can be relatively expensive compared to carbon steel, and maintaining a polished finish can be challenging as it tends to attract grease and fingerprints.
